I stumbled across this gem when I was writing the biography of Hannah Arendt in 2020. When I finished the first draft of the book, I took a trip to the New York Public Library Archives. As I waited for edits, I looked through Hannah Arendt’s edits on Eichmann in Jerusalem and The Life of the Mind. Here is a photo of the original typescript of the first page of Eichmann in Jerusalem with editorial markings from the fall of 1962.
