Yesterday we talked about justice and judgment, Hannah Arendt’s distinction between legal judgment and political judgment, and whether or not extra-legal violence can atone for crimes against humanity.
Our July reading group will resume on Sunday July 13th at 12pm EST with Hannah Arendt’s Essay “Personal Responsibility Under Dictatorship” and Sunday July 20th at 12pm EST with “Thinking and Moral Considerations” so that we may continue to discuss evil, thinking, and resistance when the chips are down.
