This Friday marks the anniversary of Hannah Arendt’s death. Hannah Arendt died suddenly on December 4, 1975 of a massive heart attack. It was a Thursday evening; she was entertaining Salo and Jeannette Baron at her home on Riverside Drive. The Saturday before, she had finished “Willing,” the second part of The Life of the Mind.
