I'm glad I have this cold rack of lamb lying around that I can snack on. But truly, this made me laugh, so thank you. Even when the world is hard to love, there will always be a time we can imagine Adorno's face when putting on his favorite Jazz piece.
This is incredible, and made me hate election season slightly less, dare I say. I love Arendt and her writing, and I love the personal touches you added to the essay regarding her tastes and preferences. Are there any biographies or books you could recommend that would give me more insight into her life? Thank you so much for writing this! ❤️
Thank you so much for linking to this! I'm looking forward to reading your books on her, and I'll be adding the other books I don't have from your recommended reading list to my shopping cart as well :)
What a pleasure was to read it in the morning. Thank you, Sam!
I had to cancel my visit to Paris (2nd cancelation since May, due to the COVID-19), but I know exactly in which café on the Left Bank I would sit, read, and listen to music... (and I the statement "fuck you" is the right one :)).
I'm reading right now Proust’s In "Search of Lost Time" (in Hebrew and French. It is a long project), but I don't think I have the qualifications to be your personal assistant (even I'm sure it should an interesting and excellent position!)...
I'll wait a day or two before having some champagne...
That is a brave martini recipe! Have you ever tried ordering it in a bar? Try skipping the angostura sometime and instead rinse the glass with absinthe. Then watch Les Orgueilleux. I guarantee the election won’t seem so bad.

Love this ! Today some jazz and Shostakovich to really amp my dread !
I believe it’s pronounced Campari Soda

Just found your books about her on Amazon! Perfection ❤️
Thank you! And thank you for reading. I created an Arendt reading guide here: https://fivebooks.com/best-books/hannah-arendt-samantha-rose-hill/

Now it is time for some champagne...
(This evening will be probably just some Whisky. Shame on me, I don't have a bottle of a good bottle of champagne at home).

Marvelous
Danke! Very good recipes, but I can only survive today thanks to a good bottle of wine. Now following the reading of Origins of Totalitarianism.
Bon courage indeed
A great guide manifesting fetishism at its best. I wish everyone true independence of thought and action!
