Interesting note about humor, especially considering that, in our own times, it was Obama's intense and hilarious (at the time) ribbing of Trump (at the correspondent's dinner) that motivated Trump to run for president. The fact of Trump's presidency could easily be blamed on Obama's stand-up act. Perhaps therein lies the tragedy.
